Service Issue

The service is not live yet. We're expecting to go live in Australia in early 2020 in just two post code areas. We will publish a list of active post codes nearer to the time of launch and update it as we grow. Our focus initially is on recruiting people who want to earn money doing their neighbours' washing.
We're only asking washers to register at the moment - complete the form towards the top of this page. This puts you on a waitlist ahead of us publishing the app.
Airlaundr works just like your favourite rideshare service. After you submit an order, nearby washers are alerted and can accept your request. You then have a five minute window to review their profile before confirming them. If you don't review them during that 5 minutes, the order will self confirm. If no washers accept your order, you'll be notified and asked if you wish to edit your order and resubmit it.
It is always best for you to be present to hand over your washing. If you cannot be present leave it in an obvious visible place, add a note to your order or message your washer.
We haven't built that function into the app yet but you will receive a reminder before your pick up window opens.
You can contact your washer only when an order is confirmed.
Yes, you can edit your order.
Cancelling a confirmed order will incur a $5 penalty for the inconvenience caused to the washer. However, you can edit your order without penalty.
You can raise a dispute within the app and we will resolve the matter. Washers are star rated so cool cats like you can feel confident your threads are safe.

Payment Issue

Washers are paid via Stripe on within 5 working days of completion of an order.
Each order is based on a fixed price of $34.99 per standard basket - roughly one load for a 7kg machine. Ironing is an extra $14.99 per load. If it's two loads, it won't be double the price because you'll only pick up and deliver once. Airlaundr will take a commission of 12.5% and give 20c from that to a good cause.
Try and speak to the customer about the discrepancy and have them amend the order. Otherwise, you are within your rights to either service only the part of the order that's been paid for and return the rest of the wash in the state it was given to you; or do the whole wash and give the customer a low rating.

Technical Issue

The app will be made available based on where you live. Once we have enough registered washers in a certain post code, we'll promote the download link. This is designed to ensure a positive user experience on Android and iOS.
